🎯 Sobriety / Quit-Streak Calculator

Calculate how many days have passed since you quit something β€” like drinking or smoking. See whether you've hit the 30/100/365-day milestones (with a D-day countdown if not yet), and, if you enter a daily spend amount, estimate the money you've saved so far.

01

What can this be used for?

This is a general-purpose streak-tracking calculator, not tied to any specific habit. It works for sobriety, quitting smoking, cutting caffeine, reducing social media use, giving up late-night snacking, or anything else where you want to track how many days you've kept going since a start date. Type any label you like into "What did you quit?" and it will be shown as-is in the result.
02

How milestones and D-day are calculated

The tool calculates the number of days elapsed between your start date and today. 30, 100, and 365 days are commonly recognized milestones for a streak β€” if you've already passed one, the tool shows the date it was reached; if not, it shows the remaining days as a D-day countdown (e.g. D-12).
03

How money saved is calculated

If you enter what you used to spend per day on the thing you quit (e.g. on alcohol or cigarettes) in "Average Daily Spend", the tool multiplies that by the total number of elapsed days to estimate roughly how much you've saved so far. This field is a plain, currency-agnostic number, and it's optional β€” leaving it blank doesn't affect any other calculation.

Frequently asked questions

Can this be used for things other than sobriety or quitting smoking?
Yes. This is a general-purpose tool not tied to any specific habit. Type whatever label you like (e.g. "Cutting caffeine", "Social media detox") into "What did you quit?" and the result will display using that label.
What happens if I haven't hit a milestone yet?
For any of the 30/100/365-day milestones you haven't reached yet, the tool shows the number of days remaining as a D-day countdown (e.g. D-7). Milestones you've already reached show a checkmark along with the date they were reached.
Do I need to specify a currency for the money-saved calculation?
No. "Average Daily Spend" is a plain, currency-agnostic number. Enter your daily spend in whatever currency you use, and the result (daily spend Γ— elapsed days) will be in that same currency. This field is optional.
