GUIDE

What to check before using it

01

When this tool is useful

Use this to compare A-series, North American poster, and Korean full-sheet cut sizes in millimetres, inches, and pixels at a chosen DPI. Select a named standard and output resolution.

02

How the result is produced

Embedded millimetre dimensions are divided by 25.4 for inches, then multiplied by DPI for pixels. Korean half, quarter, and eighth cuts use the stored print-size candidates.

03

Worked example and interpretation

Selecting 24 by 36 inches shows 609.6 by 914.4 mm. Switch between 150 DPI for a draft and 300 DPI for print to plan pixel dimensions and working-file size.

04

Scope and limitations

Korean sheet cuts and final trim can vary by printer, stock, and allowance. Use the table for comparison before quoting and apply the production order’s actual dimensions.

Frequently asked questions

Which units should I enter in Poster size converter?
Follow the field labels and example. Width and height in one calculation must use the same unit; mixing pixels, millimetres, and inches makes the result meaningless.
Can I place an order from the rounded Poster size converter result?
Use it for planning and candidate comparison, then verify the printer or manufacturer’s actual dimensions, allowance, or frame opening before ordering.
Are my Poster size converter calculations saved?
Inputs and calculations currently stay in the browser and are not saved to an account. Record needed values with their units in your project notes.
