How the result is produced
Each pixel dimension is divided by DPI to get inches and multiplied by 2.54 for centimetres. It does not analyze CSS display density or the physical shape of printer dots.

Worked example and interpretation
A 3000 by 2000 px image at 300 DPI prints at 10 by 6.67 inches, about 25.4 by 16.9 cm. Printing larger lowers pixels per inch and close-view sharpness.

Scope and limitations
Useful DPI depends on viewing distance, source focus, noise, and print process. The number cannot guarantee quality, and upscaling does not create real detail.
