What Are Torque Units?
Torque is the rotational equivalent of force, expressed in SI units as Nm (Newton-meters). In the US and UK, automotive and tool specs commonly use ft-lb (foot-pounds), while older Korean/Japanese manuals and bicycle/motorcycle documentation still use kgf-m and kgf-cm, so converting between them is often necessary.
