When this tool is useful
Use this to study radial symmetry or make a repeating base for a coloring design. Set an arm count and the same line motif is rotated around the centre.
Create a simple line pattern on canvas.
A browser-side result for planning and reference.
Use this to study radial symmetry or make a repeating base for a coloring design. Set an arm count and the same line motif is rotated around the centre.
The canvas draws several arcs and connecting lines for one arm, then rotates its coordinate system by 360 degrees divided by the arm count. The Text field is not currently used as a seed.
Generate eight-fold symmetry, then add the same leaf shape by hand in every open arm. Place the PNG at low opacity to use it as construction under an ink drawing.
The output is a simple line diagram rather than a fully random pattern. Check cultural context and permission separately before using religious or cultural symbols commercially.
