Thirds mode draws lines at one-third and two-thirds of each axis. Golden mode draws both axes at 38.2 and 61.8 percent. It does not analyze the subject or crop automatically.
Place a portrait’s eyes near the upper thirds line and check whether space remains in the gaze direction. Switch to golden guides and compare which layout tells the story more clearly.
Guide lines support a composition decision but do not score artistic quality. The upload is scaled to the preview canvas, so finish precise print cropping in the source editor.
