GUIDE

What to check before using it

01

When this tool is useful

Use this to see how a main subject aligns with golden-ratio or rule-of-thirds intersections. Upload an image, choose a guide, and set a visible line color.

02

How the result is produced

Thirds mode draws lines at one-third and two-thirds of each axis. Golden mode draws both axes at 38.2 and 61.8 percent. It does not analyze the subject or crop automatically.

03

Worked example and interpretation

Place a portrait’s eyes near the upper thirds line and check whether space remains in the gaze direction. Switch to golden guides and compare which layout tells the story more clearly.

04

Scope and limitations

Guide lines support a composition decision but do not score artistic quality. The upload is scaled to the preview canvas, so finish precise print cropping in the source editor.

Frequently asked questions

Does Golden ratio composition guide send my upload to a server?
No. Image reading and canvas processing currently happen in the browser. On a shared device, also manage downloaded files and browser history appropriately.
Does Golden ratio composition guide preserve the original resolution?
No. Processing uses a fixed preview canvas for performance, so it is not an archival conversion or a replacement for full-resolution editing.
Can I use a PNG from Golden ratio composition guide commercially?
The tool grants no rights to the source. Upload material you are allowed to use and review copyright, trademarks, and final production quality yourself.
