How to Play (Seven Card Stud)

There are 3 players (you + 2 AI); the dealer only runs the game. 3rd Street: each gets 2 hidden + 1 open (3 total) then betting; 4th Street: 1 more open (4 total) then betting; 5th Street: 1 more open (5 total) then betting; 6th Street: 1 more open (6 total) then betting; 7th Street: 1 more hidden (7 total, 3 hidden + 4 open) then betting. Each round you choose Fold/Call/Raise. After the final round, remaining players compare hands and the highest hand wins the pot. Watch opponents' open cards to predict their hands and bet accordingly.

Hand Tips

Quickly check for straights and flushes. Count matching numbers first. Two pairs = Two Pair, Pair + Triple = Full House. Straight Flush is the strongest hand.

Poker Hand Rankings Guide

High Card: no combination, highest card wins. One Pair: two cards of same rank. Two Pair: two different pairs. Three of a Kind: three cards of same rank. Straight: 5 consecutive cards (any suit). Flush: 5 cards of same suit (any rank). Full House: Three of a Kind + One Pair. Four of a Kind: four cards of same rank. Straight Flush: 5 consecutive cards of same suit. Royal Flush: A-K-Q-J-10 of same suit.

Poker Terms

7-Card Stud: a poker game where each player receives 7 cards and makes the best 5-card combination — very popular in Korea. Best Five: the strongest 5-card combination from 7 cards; the remaining 2 cards are discarded. Kicker: the remaining card that breaks ties when hands are equal. For example, if both have One Pair, the highest remaining card determines the winner.
