1. Supported Input Formats

Enter numbers one per line, or separate several with commas on the same line — you can even mix both styles. Anything that doesn't parse as a number (blank lines, values with units attached, stray text) is automatically filtered out before sorting.

02

2. Ascending/Descending and Deduplication

Ascending lists the smallest value first, descending the largest. Values are compared numerically, not as strings, so "2" is correctly treated as smaller than "10". Turn on "Remove duplicate numbers" to keep only one copy of each value before sorting.

3. Using the Statistics

Alongside the sorted list, this tool computes count, min, max, sum, and average for the numbers you entered. Handy for quickly sorting survey scores, measurements, or price lists while getting a summary at the same time.

Frequently asked questions

Is my input sent to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser — this tool never calls a backend API.
Can it sort decimals and negative numbers?
Yes. Values with decimal points and a leading minus sign are recognized correctly and sorted by numeric magnitude.
What happens to values with units, like "10kg"?
Anything that isn't a pure number can't be converted, so it's automatically excluded from sorting. Enter plain numbers without units for best results.
